Ithaca, NY

Greenstar

Greenstar Natural Foods- What a great spot in Ithaca! This Market was just down the street from the venue and I luckily got there just a few minutes before they closed up! Greenstar has a small but solid organic salad bar and prepared foods section, with greens/raw veggies as well as hot items. There was also good bulk foods and produce section that had good prices. Overall, this is definitely a great stop for health food (and quick) if your in the Ithaca, NY area.

Sacramento, CA

Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op- This is such a great health market! We always stop here when we are in or passing through Sacramento. It is truly one of our regular stops in NorCal. They have a great juice bar and prepared foods section. The salad bar is small but totally organic and has anything you would want. They also have a solid bulk section. Overall, Sacramento Co-op has good prices and awesome healthy options. Highly recommended by Tourganic!

Albany. NY

Honest Weight Co-Op- This is an awesome organic, health market in Albany, NY. It is huge and has tons of grocery items at pretty fair prices. The prepared foods world is extensive! The've got a full juice/smoothie bar as well as a big salad bar with a bunch of organic items. The soups were on point as well. I got a seriously good Juice/smoothie, the Swamp Thing, which was green juice, wheatgrass juice, blended with spirulina, hemp seeds and some other healthy additions and is highly recommended! What a killer stop if your in or passing though Albany.

Santa Barbara, CA

Solid gourmet deli in Santa Barbara, right down the street from Soho music Hall where we played in Santa Barbara. I love that they list their organic items on the board right where you walk in. They have a salad bar with great specialty items like sun dried tomatoes, hearts of palm, roasted garlic, different nuts/seeds as well as the usual veggies and greens and Braggs organic dressings. It is $10.95 a pound, which is pretty steep considering the salad bar is not totally organic. The case has some great prepared dishes as well. I got the forbidden rice salad, which was organic black rice with sweet potato and some other veggies, which was great! The ambiance is nice with a small fountain in the center of the dining room. Overall, Savoy Cafe is a good, casual healthy food stop in Santa Barbara. Glad I found it.
