Superfood Bar now in Denver!!

Superfood Bar- One of my favorite spots out there and Nola highlight, Superfood Bar is now open for business in Denver. Around a year ago, Superfood guru Joseph Stone launched the Denver location and it appears to be going great. Denver is fortunate to have this addition to its array of healthy food options. The smoothies are incredible and you pretty much can't go wrong with any order at Superfood Bar. I love the wraps as well (pictured). Any trip to Denver will now always take me to the Superfood Bar after a morning workout.

City o City- Denver has many great eating establishments for the healthy lifestyle and City o City is certainly one of my favorites. This hip vegetarian restaurant (with tons of vegan options) is super popular and constantly packed.  They have great menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner and City o City is also opened late night, which has saved me a few times with a healthy dinner after our shows.

This time we went for brunch and there were many dishes that looked great. I went out on a limb and tried the kimchi pancakes. What a choice! The kimchi pancakes, all vegan, were so tasty and topped with bok choy and some other veggies. This dish was a winner.

Look forward to hitting up City o City next time I’m in Denver!

Corner Beet- Found this little spot down the street from the Ogden Theater right before our soundcheck. It was a great find. Really nice vibe in there and the food was on point. I got a organic green juice ($9 price tag was a little harsh) and the Super Seed salad, which was indeed super! I really dug the salad and it was huge. Although Corner Beet is vegetarian, alot of there stuff has cheese but they are happy to make it vegan. Big props for using 100% organic produce!

Denver has many solid options for juice bars and plantbased cuisine, I definitely recommend checking out Corner Beet if your in the neighborhood and looking for some healthy nourishment.

Watercourse Foods- My staple in Denver! I've been coming to this spot for years and always enjoy stopping in for a healthy meal. The menu is completely vegan and they have lots of gluten free options as well. On this trip I tried the vegan chorizo hash, a hash of chorizo, black beans, sweet potato fries, scrambled tofu, caramelized onions, with a green chili, avocado creme and corn tortillas. Watercourse calls themselves vegan comfort food which I sometimes avoid but they manage to do it a healthy way and always have lighter options as well. The prices are decent and the vibe is always good at Watercourse. They definitely get busy so be prepared for a wait if you head there high traffic time for going out.

Udi's at the Denver Airport- What?! Vegan and gluten free food at the airport?? And at a reasonable price! Go Denver.
I had the Power Salad with quinoa and Kale. It was like $6.50. I'm so over the horrible $10 airport salad that places sell at airports everywhere. 
This salad is a welcome meal for a traveler who needs to eat at DIA.
I wish this place was in more airports.
